Carranya Road House
The Carranya vision shared with the elders, is to create a fully managed fuel distribution, mechanical repairs and tyre shop attached cafe, food outlet, caravan park and small Motel. The opportunity the elders see, is a training centre for all things bush mechanical in their community
The area of Carranya covers in excess of 30,000 square miles, in Australia, with over 3,000 tribal members. All members hold traditional de facto government rights, secured by the 1215 Magna Carta, the 1836 King’s Letters Patent, the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 2007 United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
The Commonwealth of Carranya has been in the planning phase for many years. The input and advancement of the commonwealth is due to all the immensely wise people we have encountered along the way.
Much gratitude to Dr Navin Chandra Naidu, who has given us guidance for many years and continued to support us while we waited for the tribes to unify and the time to be right. Gratitude to Daniel, Kōb, Steve, Paul, David, Nick, Amanda and the Education team, and Michelle for your inputs, may we continue to grow a great implementation team.
Through Carranya's programs and activities, they are ensuring the continued development on On Country community for the local dJaru mob and open education for all visitors.
