Susie M Hutchison

Serial Entrepreneur | Philanthropist | Mentor & Healer

A visionary entrepreneur and passionate philanthropist, Susie Hutchison blends her flair for commerce with her love of humanity through projects that focus on equipping the next generation of social entrepreneurs in emerging economies with the skills, experience, and inspiration they need to thrive and, thus, positively impact their communities.

A catalyst for sustainable change and empowerment, she envisions a future in which each of us understands our power in creating the world we desire. Susie relishes her role on the board of global charities and as the Executive Director of a leading travel technology business, but is just as happy rustling up a gourmet meal, mentoring an indigenous Australian entrepreneur or travelling Australia and the world, mainly to Nepal, to work with one of her many worthy causes.

Antardristi Nepal | Assisting Victims of Child Sexual Abuse

Antardristi was formed in 2003 to address the social issue of child sexual abuse in Nepal due to the alarming scarcity of service provision in this area.

Susie has assisted the organisation with essential funds and support required to sustain the venture and continues to work closely with the organisation.

Antardristi now operates a social enterprise cafe that empowers sexually abused children and helps to sustain the safe refuge for those children.

It is the organisation's hope that by 2030, and in unison with the Nepali Government, Child Sexual Abuse will be eradicated from Nepal.

SevGen Indigenous Organisation | Creating wellness through connection and relationships

SevGen was founded as a response to low Indigenous educational outcomes, unacceptable suspension data, incredibly high rates of Indigenous youth incarceration, youth suicide, and high unemployed on the Sunshine Coast.

SevGen aims to empower these groups and provide unique opportunities for growth via Indigenous-led social enterprise initiatives.

Susie has worked closely with SevGen founder and managing director, Terri Waller, to map a sustainable plan for the organisation moving forward and continues to work closely with Terri to implement this plan.
